April - Alivia performed at Festival up at BYU-I. She even got to play on the grand piano in the foyer! She did awesome!!
Also, we had a very nice, but very cold Easter!! We tried to go to the city egg hunt, but we got there late so the kids didn't get much. Still had fun though!
In what will probably be the last of its' kind, the girls performed in their grades end-of the year-concert. They both did a great job!!
Lacey has really come into her own with her singing. She loves it and has joined a group called Elite Talent. This year they are performing songs from Radio Disney. They've performed at schools and community centers and even the Farmer's Market! She has a beautiful voice!!
May - My baby, Kaleb, turned 2!!! I can hardly believe it! He is such a joy to our family! He is always smiling and laughing and we love having our "Little Chubby" with us!
This is my favorite picture from his birthday! He was so excited by his "Go, Diego Go" cake! He is just so cute!!!
The end of the school year is such a busy time! It seemed like we had something going on at the school almost every day!
Alivia is now a published author!! Each child in her class got to write their own book, and they got to illustrate and bind them. Then, their families got to come and hear them read them to us! She was so proud of her book, she really has knack for writing!
And for the first time, Joshua is playing an organized team sport....T-ball!!!
You should know that if you want to play a "spring" sport in Idaho, you should be prepared to play in the rain, wind, and yes, even snow! But the kids have been really good sports about the whole thing and Josh has really enjoyed playing. This could be just the beginning of his illustrious athletic career! :-)
Also, in May, the girls and I took a little trip to Boise to see "Wicked"!! We had such a great time! I could see it over and over again! It was really nice for us to just have a girls weekend, we might have to make an annual tradition!
Well, it's getting late so I won't be able to catch up completely this post, but I'll end with one last momentous occasion... Joshua's Kindergarten Graduation!!!!
We are so proud of him!! He really has come such a long way! His teachers have been so good with him and I will be forever grateful for all their help!
Yes, I cried when his name was called. And yes, he insisted on wearing a tie! Such a handsome guy!!
More to come....I'll just keep you in suspense..... :-)
